Once a village trader gave a town trader his good plow and asked him to mend it, but the town trader sold the plow and kept the money. The village trader came to get his plow and was told that the mice in the town had eaten the village trader's plow, and the village trader thought that it was very odd. Then one day the town trader asked the village trader to watch his son for him while he went to do something. When the town trader came back and asked where his son was, the village trader told him that a large bird had carried off the town trader's son while he was swimming in the lake. The town trader did not believe the village trader, and went to the judge of the town about it. The village trader told the judge that he was keeping the boy until his stolen plow was returned, and the town trader returned the plow to the village trader, and got his son back from the village trader.
