Once a king had an elephant whose name was Girly-Face because she was so calm. One night some robbers were talking over their plans outside of Girly-Face's pen, and Girly-Face thought they were telling her what to do, and she decided that she would kill and not have any mercy like what the robbers were talking about. So the next morning she killer her keeper, and also killed a guard who came to see what was going on. Girly-Face soon was feared, and nobody wanted to go near her. The king soon learned that robbers had been outside her pen talking, and so he had some of the kindest men talk outside her pen where she could hear them, and Girly-Face got better and soon the calmest elephant in the palace.
